TOPS Verification Services, Inc. was created in 1996 to assist in the preemployment screening needs of local Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, companies. The need, however, quickly outgrew the region, and TVS immediately became a national supplier. The expansion included a carefully selected menu of background checks designed to enhance the hiring process. The increase in market demand for hiring information has translated into the TVS "Comprehensive Employment Package."

This package was developed by input from Human Resource professionals to furnish them with the essential information they need to make the correct hiring decision the first time. We at TVS constantly monitor our customers' needs and have expanded to cover many more services to support the changing environment of today's dynamic hiring professionals.
